How to use the Text Case Converter
Paste or type your text in the box, then click the case style you want. The text in the box is replaced with the converted version, and you can click another style or press “Copy result” to copy it. Conversion happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Available case styles
- UPPERCASE: every letter becomes a capital.
- lowercase: every letter becomes small.
- Title Case: the first letter of each word is capitalized.
- Sentence case: the first letter of each sentence is capitalized and the rest is lowercase.
- camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case: programming styles that join words without spaces, used for variable names, file names and URLs.
Examples
- “hello world example” becomes Hello World Example in Title Case.
- “user first name” becomes userFirstName in camelCase and user_first_name in snake_case.
- “BLOG POST TITLE” becomes blog-post-title in kebab-case, which is handy for URL slugs.

- Formatting headings and titles consistently
- Creating variable names, CSS classes and URL slugs
- Cleaning up copied text before publishing
Frequently asked questions
Does Title Case skip small words like “of” or “the”?
No. This tool capitalizes every word. Style guides differ, so check your guide and adjust small words by hand if needed.
Can I undo a conversion?
Original capitalization is not stored. Keep a copy of your text, or paste it again, if you may need it.
Why are accents or symbols removed in camelCase?
The programming styles keep only letters and digits from A to Z and 0 to 9 and treat other characters as separators.
Limitations
Sentence case cannot recognize proper nouns or acronyms, so names such as “London” or “NASA” may need to be fixed manually. See our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. Browse the full tools directory. Related tools: Word & Character Counter, URL Encoder & Decoder.
