JSON Template Creator
How to use the JSON Template Creator
Select a template from the list, such as a user profile, product, address or API response. The JSON appears in the editor with sample values. Change keys and values directly in the box, click Validate to confirm it is still valid JSON, then press Copy to use it in your project, test or documentation.
What the templates are for
- User profile: id, username, email, roles and timestamps for account data.
- Product: price, stock, tags and nested dimensions for catalog data.
- Address: street, city, postal code and coordinates.
- API response: a common wrapper with status, data and pagination.
- To-do list, App settings, Blog post: small examples of arrays, nested objects and booleans.
Example workflow
Suppose you are testing an endpoint that expects a product. Choose the Product template, change the name and price, validate it, copy it and paste it into your API client. You can also use these structures as a starting point for mock data or schema design.
Frequently asked questions
Are these official standards?
No. They are illustrative examples. Field names and structure should be adapted to your own system or API specification.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. Templates are generated and edited in your browser.
Can I add my own keys?
Yes. The editor accepts any text; use Validate to confirm the result is correct JSON.
